9 Surprising Reasons You Are Not Losing Weight




“Health is Wealth”, obviously this much of saying is enough to give us a complete idea about health, that how much it is important in our life. Physical fitness plays a vital role in everyone’s life. For a healthy and stress-free life, one needs to be fit which not only include physical fitness but also mental, social and spiritual fitness. Earlier, lifestyle was different so as the work, the physical labor was more but in today’s scenario that physical work is substituted by the technology and machines which is directly or indirectly affecting the health.
The shape of the body varies from person to person. Some of the people do not take care of their physical health and when they do it becomes too late, their body size changes due to accumulation of fat inside their bodies, as a result, they start joining the gym and other workouts, some of the people forget to take appropriate meal, especially the people who aim to lose weight. They sometimes skip the meal to get the result instantly but it can affect their body in a negative way or they may not get the desired result.
1. NOT GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP
Sleeping is necessary for everyone. 7-8 hours daily sleep is mandatory for a person. A healthy body requires this much of sleep every day. Not sleeping much can affect you directly. Getting enough sleep is crucial for everybody. Losing sleep may result in hungriness even if you are not. It can be a reason why you are not able to lose your weight even if you are trying hard for it.
2. NOT DRINKING ENOUGH WATER
Drinking water not only helps in making your skin clean and glow but also helps to burn the calories. It is commonly recommended to drink 2-3 liters of water every day. It helps you to keep hydrated and also minimizes physical performance. Not having enough water may affect you majorly, your body may feel dehydrated and you may not get the desired output.
3. EATING TOO OFTEN
It is possible that you feel hungry every time, this may consequence in eating too much every time. You should take proper meal times, this will control your frequent hunger. Eating too often may result in obesity and accumulation of extra fat. This can resist you from losing your weight.
4. TAKING TOO MUCH CALORIE
Consuming too many calories may lead to extra fat and can damage your health. In taking too many calories per day may result in liver damage. So if you are working hard on your body and taking calories without having any idea about it then my friend, your hard work is diminishing and you may not get the desired result.
5. YOU ARE STRESSED OUT
If you feel stressed or tensed regarding your office work, financial issues or may be a problem in any relation, then you just need to pay attention to your health as it is damaging your fitness directly. Stressing effect from person to person, Sometimes when you feel stressed it results in constant hungriness which leads to overeating while some may get addicted to other things like alcohol which is really dangerous and you will not be able to lose your weight.
6. CUTTING OFF FROM CARBO
Remember if you are eating white flour rice and foods made with added sugar in too much amount then you are inviting fat to your body and take place in it. Every gram of carbohydrates contains 4-5 calorie. Consuming more carbohydrate will result in extra fat, which you will probably hate.
7. NOT GIVING UP ON JUNK/FAST FOOD
This can be the one thing which you can quit too fast but just If you really want to lose weight. We can be addicted to anything and seriously it can be “anything” that junk food as well. You just need to give up on the oily food you are having every day. You should be aware that the whole hard work you are doing is worthless if you are eating unhygienic and unhealthy and that too without a schedule.
8. NON CONSISTENCY WITH EXERCISE
Exercise is really very important in everyone’s life. It not only makes you physically strong but builds you mentally and socially. If you go through your routine you should make some time for exercise as well. If you are not consistent with that routine then you may not lose your weight, the effect can be observed by you. It is difficult to continue the timetable if you miss a day or two. So, it is important to do exercise regularly if you want to lose your weight.
9. NOT TAKING ENOUGH PROTEIN
Your body requires some of the important nutrients and protein which helps to maintain weight. Eating protein in a proper manner boost metabolism. High protein intake helps to prevent the metabolic slowdown it also helps to prevent weight. Hence, it is important to take proteins for losing weight.
